Pastel Nagomi Art is a Japanese mindful art. It was founded in Japan by Mr. Norikatsu Hosoya of Japan Pastel Hope Art Association (JPHAA) in 2003. Making the art is believed to be helpful to relieve stress and find calmness
Pastel is a type of art material that can create warm and gentle tones in a piece of art. Pastel powders and fingers are used in Pastel Nagomi Art to create a transparent and gentle artwork through simple but unique techniques. From a child to an elderly person, and regardless of levels of skills, everyone can complete a piece of artwork within 20 minutes without difficulty. The process of painting will calm one’s feelings and awaken the hope in the heart.

JPHAA Pastel Nagomi Art Associate Instructor Course
Learn Nagomi art (Japanese hard pastel art) from basic skills and complete at least 20 paintings during the course. You'll be qualified as a Japan Pastel Hope Art Association certified Pastel Nagomi Art Associate Instructor after course completion.
You may choose to take the 20-hour course in 3-7 days, with schedule at your convenience and one-to-one personal guidance via ZOOM online.
Drawing tools (except aerosol and flammable products) and a teaching manual to be delivered to door after full payment. Certificate fee is inclusive in course fee. Student has to submit 3 artworks and written assignments within 3 months after the course completion in order to apply for the certificate issued by JPHAA in Japan.
Please note that drawing tools do not include soft pastel fixative and nail polish if your delivery address is out of Hong Kong region.
